Terms of Service

These terms are the rules for using Social ID. By signing in or claiming a tile, you agree to them.
Your account and your tile
- You sign in with a Google account. Each account can hold one tile.
- You must be 18 or older, or have your parent or guardian’s permission.
- Your username is fixed once you claim a tile. Your display name, photo and links can change.
- Tiles are free. A tile is not property: it can’t be bought, sold or transferred, and Social ID does not verify who is behind a tile.
What you may post
You are responsible for your username, display name, photo and links. Only post what you have the right to use. Don’t post anything that:
- pretends to be someone else, or another brand or organisation;
- is sexual, violent, hateful, harassing, or targets anyone;
- is illegal, or links to illegal content, scams, malware or phishing;
- is spam or advertising disguised as a profile;
- shares someone else’s private information.
By adding content to your tile, you let Social ID store it, resize it and show it on the board to anyone, only for the purpose of running Social ID. You keep any rights you have in it, and this permission ends when you remove it.
Reports and moderation
Anyone can report a tile. We may hide or remove any tile, or any part of it, that breaks these terms or the law, and may block an account that does so repeatedly. A hidden tile keeps its place while we review it.
Links to other sites
Tiles link to websites we don’t run. We aren’t responsible for what is on them. Be careful before opening links from people you don’t know.
The service
Social ID is an early, free service. We work to keep it running and your tile safe, but we provide it “as is”, may change or pause it, and can’t promise it will always be available or that nothing will ever be lost. If we ever shut it down, we’ll give notice on the site where we can.
To the extent the law allows, Social ID is not liable for indirect losses, or for anything posted by other people or on sites that tiles link to.
Removing your tile
You can ask us to remove your tile at any time. See the Privacy Policy for how we handle your information.
Changes and law
If we change these terms, we’ll update this page and the date at the top. Continuing to use Social ID after that means you accept the new terms. These terms are governed by the laws of India.
